Richmond Bridge in Tasmania, taken on an OPPO phone with location switched on. We ran it through Convert with Strip Metadata on, then checked both files.

Before: the photo as it came off the phone.
After: the copy from Strip Metadata.
What changed
- The location. The GPS coordinates are gone.
- Everything else stored with it. The date and time, the camera, the maker's private notes and the small preview image inside the file are gone too.
- The picture. Unchanged. What's visible in the frame stays visible, so check signs, screens and reflections yourself.
What the report said: Exposure C for the original, A for the cleaned copy.
