We hid a short note inside one of our own photos, a gum tree over canola fields, using snapWONDERS Vaultify. Here are the two copies.
Before: our photo.
After: the same photo with a note hidden inside.
What changed
- Nothing you can see. The two pictures look the same.
- The file. snapWONDERS Vaultify saved a new lossless image (AVIF), resized to 2,048 × 1,536 on a free account: 6.9 MB against the original's 5.4 MB.
- What's inside. A short note, hidden as a small picture and protected by a password.
With the password, Reveal gave the note back:

It came back readable. Like any hidden picture, it was saved as a compact JPEG on the way in, so it isn't the identical file.
Send a photo like this as a file, never through a messaging app: they re-compress photos, which destroys what's hidden inside.
