The Koala (or inaccurately called as Koala Bear) is often very hard to spot in natural surroundings in the Australian native bush. You will be forgiven for wondering whether Koalas actually exist and whether they are "real" or perhaps just a myth. You can meet one up close by visiting the Koala Conservation Reserve at Phillip Island as you wander on treetop boardwalks. They are truly beautiful and cute animals. However do not mistaken their demeanor as being harmless as they can attack quite aggressively which is surprising given their size. Also, most Koalas are dangerous from the potential diseases they can carry, and spread. Koalas are "real", very cute, and best admired from afar!
